G'alvea Day Twooo

The second day of orientation was something like an amazing race, there were 7 stations altogether and we were supposed to race against time and complete as many stations as we could. We went to Clarqe Quay first, then to fort canning park & then to bugis. The fort canning park one was super tiring! We climbed up and down the same flight of stairs so many times because we couldn't find the game station. The finding of the station was already more tiring than the station task itself -.-"

There aren't any pictures because we were all too busy running around i guess, hee.

Anyway, we only completed 3 out of the 7 stations because we were too tired and didn't bother to try and win anymore. Ended up wasting the rest of the time away! :D

G'alvea Day 2.5

OG outing at the botanic gardens!

It started drizzling a little when we were on our way there but thank God that the rain stopped once we started playing our games :D

Stephen & guiliang bought an amazing amount of food! We barely touched most of them... There were like tons of chips, 4 big bottles of softdrinks, packet drinks, chips, a pandan cake, 2 loafs of bread (including cheese & spreads!), biscuits & loads more :O

I'm really proud of my this improvised rubbish bin, haha! I tied the rubbish bag to the leaves of that tree. I feel abit bad cos i had to pluck off the leaves when i removed the bag ;x

This is the "5 dollar tree"! Haha yup, there is a picture of this tree on our 5 dollar note, cool right :D


At first we got an ahgong who was running past to help us take this picture. I was afraid that he didn't know how to use the camera, & in the end i didn't know how the picture he took turned out. We got another kind lady to help us take that picture :D

We played captain's ball, frisbee, card games (the pig game was totally epic!) & finally ended with playing monkey. We kept increasing the monkeys until everybody else were the monkeys except for 2 people. Limmie was the eventual winner because she avoided the ball throughout the whole game, so she didn't get to throw it in the first place. Haha!

Went to Mad Jack for dinner (fish baked rice!) & then to island creamery for dessert! ~

Next we went to design some styrofoam board thing, we could paint it with anything we wanted. I honestly didn't get the idea of it at all, haha.

Next was WARRR games!


This game is called Defense Of The Ancients Lanes. We were supposed to attack other houses' lanes without letting our own come under attack. I was an epic fail in this, hee.

There was a sock game where we were supposed to tuck our socks into our shorts and the people from other houses were supposed to grab our socks. My shirt kept being pulled up & my shorts being pulled down. I didn't like that game manxz, felt totally molested.


Ahhhh, this is my favourite game out of all the war games! It's called "Strip me if you can"... Basically there were pegs on the guy's shirts that we were supposed to grab, & the guys were supposed to run around and prevent us from grabbing them. I loved it cos the girls were running after the guys and they were the ones being molested this time, HAHAH. Me & fiq cornered this guy and were so intimidating he said, "okok i give up.. just take." HAHAH.

We had the war game finale, & Mt still ended up being second! Argghhh.

We had O'night and it was totally awesome... Our og's theme was slumber party & so we all cam dressed in our pjs :D

Hello! My first week of school + orientation has ended. MT09 is totally awesome! Really love hanging out with them, & even though orientation is over, we've been meeting up for breakfast/lunch/outings (: Hehe yay!

ORIENTATION DAY ONE

Our og's name is grease lightning, (:

Day one was icebreakers + station games.

This game is called "Balls of Fury", but actually it's just poison ball lah. They threw tennis balls & a volleyball at us.. Some of the guys super hiong can?! They threw really really hard, I was lucky that I didn't get hit by one of those guys D:

There were squares drawn with chalk on the floor for this game, & the objective was to hop into a square where there were opponents in the same column or row. If they were, then they die. :D
Our group lost this game, ):

Touch rugby with a balloon, was quite funny... Seeing so many people running after one balloon!

This game is called "Don't Blow It!" Those papers on the table were numbered from 1 to 20 & we were supposed to blow the pingpong ball such that it touched the pieces of paper in order until it reached the basket at the other end of the table. This was seriously the funniest game ever! Some of us kept blowing too hard till it flew off the table, some blew too soft until they ended up kissing the ball. They even tried sucking the ball towards them, HHAHAAH. Because of our incredible lousiness, we were the second slowest group ^^v

Each group stands at each end of the row of chairs, & the players are supposed to slide over the chairs and play scissors-paper-stone with the other person, winner gets to move on while loser goes back to his own team. The catch is that the players are BLINDFOLDED. I was quite confused because i didn't even know if i won the scissors-paper-stone! The chairs were like POURED ON with babyjohnsons powder! All our shorts turned super super white after that D: Oh well, at least it didn't stink :D

We had to actually use our brains for this station! They gave us mathematical symbols and we were supposed to make equations that equated to the given number. Didn't really like it that 'game' D:

We were supposed to form "RAFFLES IS" with out bodies. I don't know if we succeeded actually, ;x

OH & did i mention the batch dance?! Anyway we had to learn this dance which was a medley of 4 songs, we learnt 1/4 of it on day one.. The dance was awesome when they did it but when we learnt it it was uhh...

Azira & her dance partner whom she began to dislike more and more as the dance progressed, HAHAH.

A hundred steps or a thousand miles, it's even more tiring when i'm the one who always has to take the first step.

It was officially the last lesson of our beginners' course in beatboxing today! Hahaha, i think i've learnt quite a lot, & Charles is quite a good teacher! I felt quite bad for laughing and stopping so many times during the final performance though, RAHH. But i couldn't help it! My own sound makes me laugh D:

Ivalyn taught me the batch dance! Her group power la, practiced until late the previous night. My group is going to practice tmr, teehee.


Ivalyn had to leave first & me & celeste stayed at mg till 2+ where we headed to somerset for lunch. We have been planning to eat Subway for like a super long time, so we headed to cineleisure only to realise that it's changed to smth else! Hahaha, we MUST MUST eat subway next time ok? =P

Ended up eating bbq chicken, & because Ivalyn wasn't there, we couldn't finish our food!

Walked around in an attempt to look for clothes, but it was an epic fail man. It was so hard to find clothes that i actually thought were nice and even if i found them, the sizes were like all too big. RAHHH. Ended up only buying four pieces of paper -.-" Good job man, C&J.



Have to wake up early for service tomorrow! (Even earlier than when i have to go to sch zomg). BYEEE <3

School has started already & it was the second day of orientation today.

Actually as bff said, I really would like to just start all over again in JC, make some more friends, have new classmates, be in a new environment, new cca (well technically the activity is the same, but it's a different place with different ppl ma)... To put behind all the unhappy memories made in secondary school and make new ones in JC.

We had station games yesterday & today was learning of the batch dance & the "amazing race" around Singapore. That was super tiring, serious. But I guess it's through all this screaming and running about and sweating buckets that brings us closer tgt. I really hope that we can be more united man, & that people will stop disappearing when we're traveling from one place to another -.- To all those cool people whom i've been hanging out with, thank you so much for making these two days so fun & awesome! :D

When we were learning the cheers today, esp the "RA RA RA RAFFLES~", i was like WOW :O I've heard it so many times during meets & now being part of this big crowd and shouting the cheer as well is a really cool feeling, i like :D

& for once it's not just all high pitched squeals! Low pitched voices have much more power man.



Daddy God, may the following days we spend together as an OG be anointed! Work through me and in me, to be a blessing to others. Let every one truly be a part of our group, let every one be able to dance, run, scream, cheer & play games to their heart's content! & at the end of it all, let us all be able to hug each other & know that each one of us has made this orientation a success (:

As I start on this new journey Lord, may You always remind me of Your love for me & help me to stand strong in faith, & always look back to Jesus, the alpha & the omega. Amen.

Went to the arcade while killing time after watching "Did you hear about the Morgans?" Didn't expect much from it, & yeah, it was a brainless show so i'm not going to talk about it.

Going to watch Hachiko soon though, it's really highly rated so I don't think it's going to be brainless. I'm not really a fan of dogs (animals in general) but I'd like to see it anyway :D The TODAY paper review said that it would leave viewers crying into their popcorns! I've never cried because of a movie before though, I'll tell you if i cry or not k. =P

Trained to bedok and took a bus to ecp. Wah, the three musketeers didn't get lost for the first time.

Caught up with bff on thursday over sakae sushi buffet, we're pros at just eating the ingredients on top of the sushi and stashing the rice away so they won't see the wastage manxz! Shan't say where we stashed the rice, HAHAHAHAH. By the time they find out we'll be long goneee ~

I'm currently having a slight headache, I think it's because I didn't have 8 hours of sleep yesterday ): & I'm not going to be having 8 hours of sleep tonight either since I'm waking up for first service tomorrow!

Went for beatbox lessons with Celeste & Ivalyn today, we were quite late, luckily we weren't the latest, hee :D

Today's lesson was TIRING!! And the sounds were so funny lo, it only sounds normal when Charles does it. When we tried it it just sounded like fail farts. D:

Ohoh, Charles sang a few songs for us by request after lesson! HAHAH AWESOME.

We thought that getting lost for 20 mins last week while trying to find lau pa sat was bad enough, but guess what? We got lost for 1 hour today!!! (shan't talk about what happened, long story)

We were hungry and i was getting irritated so we just settled down at the first restaurant we saw which was sakae sushi, & we had a sushi buffet woohoooo! (not irritated anymore =P)



Hahah call me kuku or what, i always thought that the sushi buffet only included the coloured plate sushi! I didn't know that it came with Udon + 1 red plate + side dish + ice cream!! Woohoo, i think the price is reasonable too!





I'm still loving my holidays! Daddy please multiply my holidays so they'll be longlonglong so I won't have to start school so soon ok ? :D

I'm just feeling so blessed blessed blessed, hee :D
